Hi, I'm Kanna from Tokyo. I've lived in NYC for 25 years and have brought many singers to NYC for my annual Jazz Education Weekend where they study with American singers and I translate.  It gives me great pleasure to bring JazzVoice.com content to you in Japanese, and to help you navigate the site and deal with any questions you might have. I hope we will build up a big community of Japanese Jazz Vocalists here.

Please visit our FORUM PAGE where the Japanese members can meet.

Private Lessons

Study with Top Vocalists and Educators

It's very easy to book a lesson with our teachers.

Book translation simultaneously by looking at the hours the teacher and translator have in common

Our translators are skilled New York based vocalists who can explain the many conceptual ideas that come up in a voice lesson. You don't need a membership to book a lesson.

If you need a little help deciding who to study with, you're welcome to contact us to discuss your personal goals and together we can plan how to meet them.

Watch top performers and educators discuss their process and work one on one with singers to improve their approach.

Masterclasses are held on Zoom

Masterclasses are 75 minutes long, and are recorded.

MASTERCLASS MEMBERS can access the most recent recordings.

SINGER & PERFORMER MEMBERS can access recent recordings plus the full archive.

Most Masterclasses follow a format of the teacher singing and teaching for 10 minutes,

then working with 3 or 4 different singers.

You can apply to sing in a Masterclass if you are a SINGER or PERFORMER MEMBER

Please apply in the Forum by submitting an audio or video sample in the discussion of the class you would like to sing in.
