We have a professional performing opportunity for vocalists! On February 26, 2021 The United States Air Force Band of the Golden West will host a live audition to hire the regional band’s newest vocalist. As a musician, educator and/or administrator, I hope you can help me in locating talented performers who may be interested in auditioning for a position in the USAF Regional Band.
Qualified applicants may be assigned to any USAF Regional Band, depending on the greatest need of the Air Force. Possible assignment locations include the following Air Force Bases: Langley, Wright-Patterson, Scott, Offut, Lackland, Travis, Ramstein, Hickam and Yokota.
A typical annual salary averages $42,000. Annual salary is the summation of basic pay, housing allowance and monthly meal stipend based on duty location. Housing may be provided free of cost at certain locations. Variations in total annual salary are based on residence requirements. Military pay scales can be found at http://militarypay.defense.gov/Pay/. Salary includes full medical and dental benefits, 4 weeks of annual vacation with pay, and up to $80,000 in GI Bill benefits.
